IT system sales person

In our company with approx. 140 employees, the IT systems sales persons are “brokers” between technology and customer. They can evaluate which are the best systems, how they are used, whether they meet the requirements of the customers and which costs have to be calculated.

Specialist technical competence, the ability to carry out a cost-benefit assessment, and to deal with the customer and his or her requirements in a methodical, constructive and communicative manner outlines the wide range of activities of IT systems sales persons, which in large parts comprises the focal points of purchase, sales and consultation.

Preconditions

  • A higher educational level (German A levels or advanced technical college certificate)
  • ... with good performances in mathematics
  • In addition, we expect interest in information and telecommunication systems
  • Ability to think logically is important, because someone only who understands all the details can carry out the job
  • At the same time you can work on your own, but also in a team
  • As a service provider we expect thinking in the sense of the customer
  • Energy is important to use; we need people who want to perform

Course of the training at Compuserv

  • Commercial processes, among other things, processing workflow, preparation of calculations, service orders
  • Purchase, sale, customer services
  • Settlement of order services
  • Workshop, familiarization with components and configurations
  • Accounting, creditor and debtor book-keeping
  • Customer service / field service, attention of projects
  • Vocational school: Block or part-time teaching, at Erich-Gutenberg Vocational College Cologne at present
  • Duration of apprenticeship: 3 years, to be shortened in case of corresponding professional pre-qualification

After training
