Specialist for warehouse logistics

In our company with approx. 140 employees, specialists for warehouse logistics are an important interface between the individual operational areas and services. Without them the specialist department is not provided with any goods, and without them no goods will reach the customer.

Shipment handling, commissioning, warehousing as well as the commercial and logistics organization belong to their daily tasks. As contact points arise in almost all company departments, the activity field is correspondingly diverse. Specialists for warehouse logistics are flexible, receptive, can communicate and use EDP for support. On account of your extensive practical knowledge you are frequently an important “all-rounder” in a company process.

Preconditions

• An intermediate school-leaving certificate (German technical secondary school or secondary modern certificate) is the basis
• Good verbal and written articulateness as well as numerical reasoning
• Basic knowledge in EDP standard software
• As connecting link between the processes you have to be able to rely on all
• Thus, we expect that you work independently as well as in a team
• Logistics in the name already: Logical reasoning. It is also logical that tidiness, the ability for orientation as well as physical resilience is required as well
• We are service providers, and thus we expect thinking in the sense of the customer

Course of the training at Compuserv

• Shipping, incoming goods and qualified testing
• Inventory management, inventory control and commissioning
• Commercial processes and operational procedures; processing of complaints and guarantee claims
• Field service, support of the technical department in logistics, among other things during rollouts
• Vocational school: Block or part-time teaching, at the Vocational and Administrative College Remscheid at present

After training

We always attempt a takeover after successfully completed training. This is decided during the training and the demand for specialists at the end of the training.
